Large Format Printing
A giclee (zhee-CLAY) is an individually produced, high-resolution, high-fidelity reproduction done on a special large format printer. Giclees are produced from digital scans of existing artwork or high resolution images direct from a digital camera. Also, since many artists now produce only digital art, there is no "original" that can be hung on a wall. Giclees solve that problem, while creating a whole new vibrant medium for art.
Alterations:
- Removal of objects and/or people from photo.
- Adding objects and/or people (from two different photos).
- Replacement of backgrounds.
Enlargements:
- Altering the original image size may result in loss of data due to cropping
- Enlarging the original more than one print size may result in overall quality degradation.
